The second DEKAD of December 2025 was marked by an increase in maximum temperatures in River Gee, Maryland, Rivercess, parts of Nimba, Bong, G. Bassa Montserrado, Bomi and G. Cape Mount. The rest of the country received low temperature. Maximum temperatures ranged between 26.9°C and 29.2°C.

The second DEKAD of December 2025 were marked by variations in minimum temperatures. The southern (costal) region experienced the highest values, while the northern and northwestern region experienced the lowest. Minimum temperature during this period ranged from 18.2°C to 25.1°C.

During the second dekad of December 2025, southern Liberia experienced moderate rainfall, while northern and parts of central regions recorded low rainfall. Nationwide rainfall amounts ranged from 25.1 mm to 75.1 mm. Maximum temperatures increased across several southern and central counties, ranging between 26.9°C and 29.2°C, while minimum temperatures varied from 18.2°C to 25.1°C, with warmer conditions along the coast and cooler conditions in the north and northwest. High evapotranspiration was observed in the north and northwest, moderate levels in central and western areas, and low levels along the coast. Dense vegetation covered the southeast, whereas the southern region showed relatively less dense vegetation.

Forecast for December 2025: Cumulative rainfall is expected to range from 25.3 mm to 119.4 mm, with higher amounts (60–110 mm) over the southeast coastal counties and less than 60 mm in the northern counties. Relative humidity is predicted to range from 69% to 83%, highest in the southern counties. Maximum temperatures are anticipated to range from 28.6°C to 32.1°C, while nighttime temperatures may range between 17.4°C and 25.9°C, with the coolest conditions in northern counties.

Farmers’ Advisory: With continued rainfall and saturated soils expected in the third dekad, farmers are advised to improve field drainage, adopt flood-tolerant crops, manage irrigation carefully, relocate livestock to higher ground, maintain good hygiene, and follow weather updates and guidance from agricultural extension services to reduce losses.
