July 13, 2026: Light to moderate rainfall is anticipated over Liberia, affecting Lofa, Gbarpolu, Grand Cape Mount, Bomi, Montserrado, Bong, Nimba, Margibi, Grand Bassa, River Cess, Sinoe, Grand Gedeh, River Gee, Grand Kru, and Maryland counties (Fig. 1: Areas in Yellow and orange). Heavy Rainfall is expected over northern and southern Liberia, affecting Grand Cape Mount, Bomi, Montserrado, Margibi, Grand Bassa, and the extreme north of Lofa and Nimba Counties (Fig. 1: Areas in Red).
July 14, 2026: Light to Moderate rainfall is expected over Grand Cape Mount, Montserrado, Margibi, Grand Bassa, Sinoe, River Gee, and Grand Kru counties (Fig.2: Yellow and Orange). Heavy Rainfall is expected over Grand Cape Mount, Montserrado, Margibi, Grand Bassa, Sinoe, River Gee, and Grand Kru (Fig. 2: Areas in Red).
July 15, 2026: Light to Moderate Rainfall is expected over Bomi, Lofa, Bong, Grand Bassa, Nimba, Grand Gedeh and Maryland counties (Fig. 3: Areas in Yellow and Orange). Heavy Rainfall is expected over Bomi, Lofa, Bong, Grand Bassa, Nimba, Grand Gedeh, and Maryland counties (Fig. 3: Areas in Red).
1.2 CAUTION
There is a risk of flash flooding due to expected moderate-to-heavy rainfall. Strong winds may accompany the rains. The public is advised not to drive through surface runoff waters, as they can have strong undercurrents. Other likely hazards include slippery road surfaces and reduced visibility during the rain, which can disrupt road traffic. Strong winds are a threat to weak structures, trees, and masts. Disconnect electrical appliances before, not during, the rains. Elsewhere (see places in Green), no hydrometeorological hazards are anticipated. The public is, however, advised to watch out for updates.
